Goalkeeper: Robin Zentner (Mainz 05 | Bundesliga) – 9.31 rating

Zentner frustrated RB Leipzig on Saturday afternoon as the 29-year-old made nine saves in Mainz 05’s 0-0 draw at the Red Bull Arena. A further four high-ball claims helped Die Nullfünfer to a point against the top-four hopefuls.

Centre-back: Sergio Ramos (Sevilla | La Liga) – 8.48

Ramos’ fifth-minute strike was enough for Sevilla to claim a 1-0 win at Getafe over the weekend. Ramos struck with one of three efforts, while nine clearances and six successful aerial challenges helped Sevilla to just their third away league win of the campaign.

Centre-back: Mats Hummels (Borussia Dortmund | Bundesliga) – 8.62

Dortmund claimed the bragging rights in Der Klassiker on Saturday evening with Hummels key in their 2-0 win at Bayern Munich. Indeed, the experienced centre-back made six clearances, one of which was off the line, five interceptions and two tackles in a standout display.

Centre-back: Sepp van den Berg (Mainz 05 | Bundesliga) – 8.28

The young Dutchman made seven clearances and blocked four shots as Mainz 05 claimed a huge point in their battle to beat the drop.

Right midfield: Cole Palmer (Chelsea | Premier League) – 9.20

Chelsea may have failed to get the better of Burnley on home turf on Saturday but the game marked another fine showing from Palmer. “Ice Cole” scored his 12th and 13th league goals of the season in the 2-2 draw from two of nine shots, while five key passes and three dribbles capped another fine showing.

Central midfield: Vitinha (PSG | Ligue 1) – 8.80

A 10-man PSG took a 2-0 win in Le Classique at Marseille on Sunday night with Vitinha on hand to net his seventh league goal of the season. The 24-year-old was a driving force from midfield and completed five dribbles at the Velodrome.

Sierro put in a superb display as Toulouse claimed a 3-0 win at Clermont Foot. The Swiss midfielder struck with both shots in the victory, while he also made two key passes and completed one dribble at the Stade Gabriel-Montpied.

Kudus may have ended the weekend on the losing side, as West Ham capitulated to lose 4-3 at Newcastle, but the Ghana star was excellent in defeat. Kudus was directly involved in two of the Hammers’ three goals on Saturday, netting with one of three shots and providing one assist from two key passes. Six dribbles and five tackles marked a stunning showing from the 23-year-old.
