English football club Liverpool’s players have recently been claiming that they are among the best in the world, after a year away.
Rousing The Kop reported that the club’s captain, Virgil van Dijk, is again being termed as the top centre-back, despite being under severe criticism last year. The same is with Alisson Becker and Mohamed Salah.
But it doesn’t end here. Conor Bradley believes there’s another Reds player who plays similar to a living legend.
During a conversation with the Premier League’s official YouTube channel, he was asked who, in his opinion, was the best free-kick taker in his team.
Being humble, Bradley said it wasn’t him. The star picked Dominik Szoboszlai.
“I think Dom,” the 20-year-old decided. “Between him and Trent. But just the way Dom hits the ball, I’ve never seen before. It’s a bit like Ronaldo-esque where it just knuckleballs.”
Media reports suggest that taking on Szoboszlai proved beneficial for Liverpool in the ongoing season as he has helped the club in all departments.
While most are happy, there’s always people who will not be happy with a particular choice. Pundit Eamon Dunphy claimed that his signing was actually a mistake from Jurgen Klopp.
