The Union of European Football Associations (Uefa) allowed Real Madrid to play the match against Manchester City in the Santiago Bernabeu as Pep Guardiola’s team was welcomed by the White Kits Tuesday.

Both the teams are set to play the first leg of the league’s quarter-final.

In the last year’s semi-final, the Sky-Blues were victorious over the Whites and now it is time for Carlo Ancelotti’s team to even the score.

As Ancelotti is ensuring that the faceoff between the two should end in his favour, other people of the 14-time European Cup winners are making sure things are favourable at home such as maintaining the loudness by closing down the roof of the recently-renovated stadium where 80,000 are anticipated to show up.

The managers of Real Madrid are also expecting fans to pressure Man City as they have been advised to wear all-white outfits for the much-awaited football game.

The purpose is to secure the commanding position as they will enter the second leg in the rival’s location next week.

Santiago Bernabeu — where the current match is being played — was transformed over the last couple of years, with the placement of a retractable roof, which has added to its beauty.

City’s chief Guardiola considered the possibility of both sides serving up a classic however, he also warned that previous “encounters between the sides will count for nothing.”

“It’s the same managers, but we have new players and they have new players, so it will be a completely different game,” he added

“We are talking about Real Madrid, their ability to control many aspects of the game, but we have to impose our game with who we are.”
