Quetta Gladiators’ spinner Usman Tariq has come under scrutiny for a suspected bowling action during the ongoing season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
According to media reports, the report on Tariq’s action arose during the recent match between Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings. The match, officiated by on-field umpires Richard Illingworth and Asif Yaqoob, saw Tariq’s action being flagged.
So far in PSL season nine, Tariq has managed to secure two wickets in three matches.
It is worth noting that in the match where Tariq’s action was reported, Karachi came out victorious with a commanding seven-wicket win over Quetta at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. This win ensured Karachi Kings’ qualification for the playoffs remained secure.
