Sangam World Malt Whisky
Radico Khaitan Limited has introduced the award-winning Sangam World Malt Whisky to the Indian market—a launch that marks a significant milestone in the brand’s remarkable journey. Despite being just six months old in India, Sangam has already made waves internationally, clinching gold medals at the prestigious John Barleycorn Awards and BTI Luxury Spirits Awards 2023 in the United States.
Tasting Notes:
Derived from the Hindi word Sangam, meaning “confluence,” this whisky symbolizes the seamless blend of Eastern tradition and Western whisky-making expertise. Sangam is crafted from a fusion of premium malts sourced from Europe and the New World, offering a complex, smooth profile.
On the nose, it opens with tropical notes of lychee and green apple, enhanced by floral aromas of rose and heather. Citrus, caramel, cinnamon, and nutmeg add layers of depth. The palate is creamy and fruity, underscored by subtle peaty undertones and flavors of cinnamon, oaky vanilla, honey, and a wine-like essence. Spirit of Victory 1999 Pure Malt Whisky
Another standout from Radico Khaitan, Spirit of Victory 1999 Pure Malt Whisky is a heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers of the 1999 Kargil War.
