Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix take up the big screens in their titular roles for the upcoming 2024 film, Joker: Folie à Deux.
The Born This Way singer appears as the infamous Harley Quinn, in the musical sequel to the 2019 Oscar-winning film, Joker.
The upcoming film’s first trailer was exclusively premiered on April 9 at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
Gaga and Phoenix presented their takes on the Todd Phillips film’s sequel, where the singer presented her take on the popular DC Comics character.
While the 53-year-old actor took the stage at Caesars Palace to introduce the movie’s first trailer.
In the trailer Harley can be seen in what appears to be an insane asylum as she greets Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck. “Do you want to get out of here?” she asks him, before the two can be seen dancing in a fantastical musical sequence.
Lady Gaga previously took to her official social media accounts on April 2 to share the movie’s poster for the first time, captioning the post, “The world is a stage.”
Joker: Folie à Deux is slated for an October 4, 2024 theatrical release.
