Lara Trump, the wife of Eric Trump and daughter-in-law of former president Donald Trump, made a revelation about his father-in-law when he came back from Washington after the abrupt end of his presidency in the wake of Capitol Hill riots of January 6, 2021.
Donald Trump entered in the Oval Office after winning the elections in 2016 against Democrat Hillary Clinton. He ran for the White House once again before incumbent President Joe Biden but lost in 2020.
Since then, he has been claiming that the elections were rigged and allegedly instigated his supporters to storm Capitol Hill and prevent election endorsement.
Lara Trump told the Washington Examiner during the interview of his father in law that when the former president came back to Mar-a-Lago at night from Washington, he was clear in one thing; “I know I can do this again.”
Lara — who is also the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee — recalled that a “comeback was clearly on Trump’s mind, even in his earliest post-presidential hours.”
Upon listening to this, the interview noted that “Trump laughed at the memory and said Lara had told the story more clearly in one sentence than he had in several minutes of conversation.”
The businessman-turned-politician is facing four criminal indictments and a financial crunch to support his reelection campaign and his legal woes.
