We all have that one utensil we just can’t live without, right? Maybe it is your trusty spoon or that one special plate that you always reach for. Recently, comedian Vir Das spilled the beans on his go-to utensil, which is a 4-in-1 stainless steel partition thaali. Yep, you heard it right. Mr Das revealed that he carries the thaali everywhere with him. Posting a picture of the plate on Instagram, Mr Das wrote that he was “obsessive with this thaali.” He also revealed that he loved eating various kinds of cuisines in his favourite plate – be it Italian, sushi, breakfast, or Indian. “You decide when your food items touch,” the overlay text read.
In the picture of the thaali, he was seen having a simple breakfast, with a slice of bun cut into two and an omelette. He also had a fork and a dollop of tomato ketchup on the side. “Also we were out of ketchup,” the comedian wrote in the caption.

Fans have made a bee-line to the comments section to share their sentiment.
A user wrote, “I have a similar thaali.” Another user commented, “Thaali is definitely Indian.” Others said this is the “Hostel waali” thaali. Someone else shared that they used to “fight over this thaali as a kid.”
