- In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Hanuman Jayanti lasts 41 days, beginning on Chaitra Purnima and concluding on the tenth day of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) in Vaisakha month.
- In Tamil Nadu, Hanuman Jayanti is known as Hanumath Jayanti and is observed during the Margashirsha Amavasya.
