Amazon Labor Day sales worth adding to your cart: Deals from Apple, Hanes, Dyson and more are up to 70% off

As we (unofficially) bid summer farewell, let’s focus on the good things about this time of year. Sure, beach weather won’t stick around for much longer, but who doesn’t enjoy a crisp fall day? Plus, we’ve got apple cider, soup season and Halloween to look forward to. We’re not quite there yet, but Labor Day weekend is upon us, and Amazon’s sale is packed with deals worth shopping ASAP (another positive!).

We’ve spent our day combing through Amazon’s Labor Day sale, checking prices and availability to make sure the deals below are still worth your time. There are some genuinely solid markdowns still live, including up to 70% off big-name brands like Apple, Dyson, Stanley, Bissell and more. We’re continuing to update this list throughout the weekend as prices and inventory change, so check back for the latest finds.

5 popular Amazon Labor Day deals:
Hanes Men’s Full-Zip Eco-Smart Hoodie ($9, was $28): Nearly 70% off
Apple AirTag (2nd Gen) ($24, was $29): Lowest price we’ve seen

Tips from our deals experts:
✔️ What’s worth buying: Labor Day is when summer staples hit some of their lowest prices of the year, so stock up now on lightweight clothing, fall-ready basics and sunscreen rather than paying full price come summer. It’s also a smart time to grab year-round kitchen and home essentials like slow cookers, air fryers, or a new vacuum ahead of the holiday hosting rush.
✔️ What to wait on: Hold off on pricier Amazon devices, which will likely see deeper discounts during October Prime Day, as well as larger appliances, which tend to drop further during Black Friday. Winter clothing and accessories are also worth waiting on, since those discounts typically get better as the season progresses.
✔️ Deal tip: Keep an eye out for limited-time Lightning Deals, which are only available while stock lasts. It’s always a good idea to check out the little-known Coupon page for extra savings. Also, be sure to check individual product pages, where coupons often appear in a red box under the price (just tick the box to apply).

I suppose I can forgive candy corn for popping up a bit prematurely if it means we also get Labor Day deals as good as these — though, as with any savings event, not all markdowns are worth your time. No worries, though: My team and I have about 20 years of deal-hunting experience between us, researching price histories and comparing discounts among retailers to ensure we’re only sharing the real deals. Now go rev up that cart and get to work — shopping can be Labor-ious, but someone’s gotta do it.

Best Amazon Labor Day deals: Top picks

Need an extra layer for those cooler nights? Don’t miss out on this soft fleece zip-up hoodie while it’s nearly 70% off. Amazon’s top seller comes in a range of colors, from classic black to navy, and has over 60,000 five-star ratings. (Prefer a pullover? They’re on sale too, starting at just $8.)

Great time to buy: Now further reduced from $10 to just $9, this is the lowest price we’ve seen on this Hanes fave in the last few months.

“Every single day. That’s how often I use my Apple AirTags,” shares our resident tech-spert Chris McGraw. “While I was born with the ability to remember random people’s birthdays with ease, finding my keys… well, that’s a whole other story. Before these trackers, I was constantly searching the house, but now I can open the Find My app on my phone, and it guides me right to them.”

Great time to buy: This is the lowest price we’ve seen on the pack since its release.

My one complaint about my air fryer is that it’s not big enough to cook a frozen pizza. Well, OK, one more critique: It also takes up a bit more room than I’d like. So I’ve got my eye on this one from Ninja this Labor Day. It’s roomy enough for a 12-inch pizza, flips up on its back (let it cool first!) to save counter space and can bake, toast, dehydrate and roast in addition to air frying. One recent shopper said it “could be the best air fryer [they’ve] ever had.”

Good deal: A quality, cook-everything air fryer that can handle pizzas for $150? Sold. We’ve only seen this unit dip a few bucks lower this year, and that was months ago.

You can score this top-rated 35-ounce tumbler for as little as $29 (down from $42), just $2 more than the lowest price we’ve seen on the smaller 25-ounce tumbler. No frills here, just dependable function: a simple straw-lid design with a condensation-free body to keep your hands dry, and you can pop this bad boy right into the dishwasher when it’s time to clean.

Great time to buy: We haven’t seen the price on this particular size dip any lower in the past year (even during sales events), and considering it’s just as handy for ice-cold drinks as it will be for keeping your autumnal teas, coffees and cocoas piping hot, we think it’s a good opportunity to grab one now. You’ll get the best savings in this pretty sky blue as well as poppy pink.

Attention, “Roomba-or-nothing” folks: Having any sort of robot vacuum is great, but you know what’s really handy? One that doubles as a mop so it can clean every type of floor in your house. This model boasts up to 70% more suction power than other iRobot vacuums, and it’s smart enough to avoid carpets and rugs when it’s in mopping mode. “Really impressed with how well this combo vacuum and mop performs,” raved a reviewer. “The suction is powerful enough to pick up dirt, dust and pet hair, and the mopping feature adds an extra level of clean.”

Good deal: This price is just about as low as it’s been in the past year, aside from one quick dip back in April, so save 47% while you can.

Here’s an ultra-compact Keurig that brews a single serving at a time. At $50, this tiny wonder is an affordable option for small kitchens, dorm rooms and offices. Wildly popular leggings for a mere $6? Yes, please! These No. 1 bestsellers are buttery soft and totally opaque. Plus, the high waist offers support without being too constricting, and according to reviewers, they pass the squat test.

Great time to buy: These leggings, which have been purchased over 9,000 times this month, are always a steal, but this price — equal to the lowest we’ve ever seen — is particularly stellar.

This oral-hygiene hero swaps painful (and tedious) string flossing for a gentle yet effective stream of water to dislodge anything trapped between your teeth — and keep your gums and mouth sparkling clean in the process. It was designed to be compact enough to travel with (it’s cordless), and you can even use it in the shower to save time. Plus, it has a battery that lasts for up to four weeks before needing a recharge, includes four tips and is currently down to one of its best prices yet.

Why it’s a good deal: We’ve only seen this Waterpik drop $3 lower in the past year, during June’s Prime Day. This matches its Black Friday 2025 price and is one of the best deals we’ve seen, well, ever. Snag one ahead of Labor Day and save $40 — plus beat the hordes threatening to sell it out (over 10,000 have been purchased just this month!).

The latest AirPods Pro models came out last October and we’ve seen them discounted by as much as $70 in previous sales. Yahoo Tech’s review praised the great sound, improved battery life (8 hours) and excellent noise cancellation. With the software upgrade to iOS 27 coming this fall, the buds will even have an equalizer function.

You also get Live Translation, heart-rate sensing for workouts and a hearing aid feature with these buds. And I can personally attest that the noise cancellation is almost spooky-good.

Parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, anyone with a beloved kid in your life: If you haven’t met Toniebox, now is the time to say “hello.” As a mom to a curious 18-month-old, I find this screenless audio player to be an entertainment lifesaver. Kids simply place a “Tonie” on top to play songs, stories and more, with options ranging from educational Tonies to beloved films and characters. There are even “Creative Tonies” that let you record your own messages and stories. Best of all, my son can turn it on, switch Tonies and adjust the volume on his own, all without an iPad.

Great time to buy: Tonieboxes are rarely on sale, and this is the lowest price we’ve seen this year for the Toniebox 1. So grab one now if you’ve been looking to — it’s also discounted in red.

Here at Yahoo, we’re big fans of Dyson vacuums. They’re among the most powerful floor cleaners we’ve tested, and this svelte cordless model is no exception. As a rule, you’re about as likely to see a Dyson vac on sale as you are to spot a flying pig. This vac boasts up to 60 minutes of fade-free suction, plus three cleaning modes to tackle messes on any surface in your home and a Motorbar cleaner head that automatically detangles wrapped human or pet hair.

Good deal: We haven’t yet seen the sale price go any lower on this model, and 25% off is a rare discount.

As we alluded to above — It’s hard to go wrong with a good ol’ pair of straight-leg Levi’s, so we definitely wanted the fellas to get in on the denim discounts. These 550s are basically the denim equivalent of a good cup of coffee: reliable, timeless and somehow always there to make you feel better. They fit great, hold up wash after wash and look just as good dressed up as they do down. The button fly might feel old-school, but that’s part of the charm — it’s vintage without trying too hard.

Great time to buy: If you’ve ever wanted a pair, now’s the time; we haven’t seen the price drop any lower than this since the spring.

This is what you need if you’re like, “I think tightening creams are BS but I also want to believe they are true because I currently dislike my neck.” Gold Bond’s firming cream is no frills but gets the job done (the job being firmer-looking, less-crepey skin). The formula is lightweight and on the thin side, but the product absorbs well and is gentle enough not to irritate sensitive skin.

Good deal: Note: You’ll need to use it consistently for about a month to see results, and it won’t, of course, magically make you appear 25, but being able to snag this ample size for just $12 makes this product worth a go.

If you’re anything like me, you probably already have a few dozen chargers junking up your drawers and cabinets. What makes this one any different? The big upgrade here is the built-in smart display, which shows real-time charging info like power output, temperature and charging status.

While the screen is undoubtedly cool, the most important feature for me is that the charger can recognize what device you’ve plugged in and automatically adjust its output to protect the long-term health of the battery, which should matter quite a bit if you’re charging everything from an iPhone and AirPods to a smartwatch or MacBook Air, often all in the same day.

This smart set was declared our top art TV of 2025 (and was only usurped by the newest model, the Frame Pro): “It probably comes as no surprise that Samsung makes the best art TV, because the company’s Frame lineup dates all the way back to 2017 — plenty of time to refine and improve the concept,” said our tech-spert, adding that it “boasts an unrivaled art collection, an also-unrivaled connectivity solution (in the form of its One Connect box) and tons of attractive bezel options (though mostly from third-party sellers). It all adds up to a lovely — though expensive and not without flaws — addition to your living room.”

Good deal: This is the best discount we’ve seen on the Frame in months.
